Chris Rummage has worked for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department in Tennessee since 2011. He is presently a supervisor in the department’s full time Background and Recruitment Unit. Chris previously served as a patrol officer, FLEX officer, crimes against children detective, and homicide detective.
Chris is an experienced interviewer, certified CVSA examiner, and is trained in linguistic statement analysis.
Prior to joining the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Chris served in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. He deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008 and 2010. Chris earned a bronze star for his service and was honorably discharged as a sergeant 2011.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Bethel University in McKenzie, TN.
