Captain Shahin Allafchian has served in law enforcement for more than 15 years and currently serves as Captain with the Cockrell Hill Police Department in Dallas County, Texas. He oversees patrol operations, criminal investigations, and officer training, and has worked closely with agencies such as the Dallas Police Department, Texas DPS, and U.S. Marshals Task Force. Earlier in his career, Captain Allafchian served as a SWAT Team operator and member of the Street Crimes Unit with the Odessa Police Department, participating in numerous high-risk operations and proactive narcotics and fugitive investigations. He has also taught at the police academy, instructing new recruits in constitutional law, less-lethal options, and ASP baton training. Captain Allafchian is a certified law-enforcement instructor specializing in Narcotics Investigations, Criminal Interdiction, Surveillance Operations, Officer Safety, and Interview & Interrogation, and is recognized for leading technology upgrades such as Axon body-camera integration, Flock LPR systems, and CAD modernization.
