Sergeant Kevin Zodrow currently serves as the supervisor of the Recruitment and Training Unit for the Leesburg, Virginia Police Department. He has over 15 years combined experience in law enforcement, security, tactics, training and supervision. Sgt. Zodrow holds a DCJS general instructorship with specialties in firearms, emergency vehicle operations, SIMunitions, Law Enforcement Information Exchange (LInX), Fair and Impartial Policing, and Disability Awareness training. Sgt. Zodrow sits on the board for the Eastern Regional Police Recruiter and Applicant Investigator Association and previously served as the association's vice president. In his time with Leesburg Police, he has served in various roles to include patrol, criminal investigations, academy instructor, SWAT team leader, and program coordinator for the unmanned aircraft systems team. Sgt. Zodrow has a passion for technology and training but believes this job is first about serving people.
